About the role
We are seeking an experienced attorney to join our Real Estate team, with a focus on Land Use and Development. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-impact transactions alongside a well-established group serving a diverse client base.
Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate a broad range of real estate and development documents, including: Purchase and Sale Agreements (land and lot), Loan documents, Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&Rs), Easements and development agreements, Construction contracts and cost-sharing agreements
- Partner with clients to support commercial and residential development projects across the Carolinas
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across multiple offices
Requirements
At least 7 years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on land use and development
Strong drafting and negotiation skills across complex transactional matters
Proactive, client-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects
