Responsibilities
- Aid Land Acquisition and Entitlement Managers with procurement of due diligence work and preparation of necessary paperwork.
- Support the land team in the community planning process, including site analysis, yield studies, land planning, landscape design, signage, monumentation, amenity programming, common open space planning, and HOA matters.
- Represent the land team during the transition to vertical construction post-development.
- Communicate with Legal Council to draft HOA governing documents and coordinate with Association Management Companies for proformas.
- Manage vendor set up, invoice processing, and approval of draw submittals for land acquisition, entitlements, and development vendors.
- Track and manage deadlines and milestones for multiple projects.
- Oversee lot takedown requirements with local Division managers and the corporate land team.
- Facilitate agreements and contracts with third parties and maintain accurate records.
- Maintain spreadsheets for tracking and disseminate information to relevant parties.
- Handle general records management and other assignments as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in architecture, Environmental Design, or a related field.
- Knowledge of residential plans and land development construction drawings.
- Experience in real estate development or homebuilding preferred.
- Ability to quickly learn software for market research and analysis.
- Prior experience with MLS and Zonda.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, including tools for tracking and timelines.
- General MS Office proficiency, Smart Sheets, and Microsoft Projects.
- Experience reading and comprehending legal real estate documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain focus.
- Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and high level of integrity.
