In 2021, Diversified expanded into the Central Regional Focus Area, which includes producing areas within Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret contracts, including conveyance, lease, and other oil and gas contractual documents.
  • Create and maintain ownership decks for revenue and expenses.
  • Review title opinions, ownership documents, and land contracts to determine ownership and lease burden relationships to support revenue distributions and obligation payments.
  • Build cross-references from wells to leases and other contracts.
  • Capture pertinent data in records system.
  • Interact with landowners and internal stakeholders.
  • Resolve routine and complex ownership issues.
  • Support acquisition records assimilation.
  • Serve as point-of-contact for assigned projects.
  • Mentor less experienced team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred).
  • Experience administering lease and division order records for oil and gas assets in the Company’s operating areas, with emphasis on Louisiana experience.
  • Knowledge of provisions in standard land contracts as well as oil and gas leases.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
  • Enjoys research-intensive assignments.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Patient demeanor when interacting with landowners.
  • Proficient in Excel and Word.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Prolonged periods working at a desk in front of a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
