Lamination - 1st Shift - Millersburg, PA

About the role

1st Shift position (Monday – Thursday, 6:00 am – 4:00 pm) at the MI Windows and Doors Profiles Plant in Millersburg. Starting hourly rate is $21.00.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly with the laborer to ensure quality production.
• Inspect all parts before and after lamination.
• Set the machine up and perform changeovers to meet plant demands.
• Load and unload parts from baskets and stack them on the table.
• Feed and cut parts going into and coming out of the machine.
• Follow the general instructions of the operator.
• Trim and Wool (bulb) parts with correct wool/bulb in the correct slot.
• Cut scrap when needed.
• Cut and set primer pads to ensure proper coverage for the entire run.
• Set drive and guide wheels.
• Read and understand lamination schedules and prints.
• Count parts and distinguish types and colors of foils.
• Change glue on the hot melt system when needed and clean/prep the glue head.
• Set up slitter and cut foil to correct sizes.
• Clean up after each run and prepare for the next.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
