Lamination - Operator - WE Shift - Millersburg, PA

Position Summary

Operators are to communicate clearly with the laborer to ensure quality production. Inspect all parts before and after lamination. Set the machine up and do changeovers to meet the plant’s demands.

Essential Functions

• Loading and unloading of parts from baskets and/or trailers.
• Trim and Wool (bulb) parts (with correct wool/bulb in correct slot).
• Inspect quality before and after lamination.
• Cut scrap when needed.
• Cut and set primer pads, ensures proper coverage for the entire run.
• Set drive and guide wheels.
• Read and understand lamination schedules.
• Count parts.
• Distinguish types and color of foils.
• Change glue on hot melt system when needed.
• Clean and prep glue head.
• Set up slitter and cut foil to correct sizes.
• Able to read and understand lamination prints.
• Work together as a team and communicate with each other.
• Cleanup after each run and prepare for the next.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
