Responsibilities
- Provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards.
- Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level.
- Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services.
- Assumes expanded roles such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member.
- Supports parents and infants facing routine and complex feeding challenges.
- Facilitates and monitors individualized infant feeding plans.
- Educates nursing staff and learners on evidence-based breastfeeding practices.
- Ensures timely documentation, follow-up planning, and connects to community resources.
- Completes CLC training while onboarding and IBCLC training within 2 years of hire.
- Has a strong clinical background in lactation care, particularly with medically complex dyads.
- Promotes breastfeeding as a critical component of infant and maternal health.
- Holds an RN license with 2 years of RN experience in the hospital setting.

Qualifications

Pay
Compensation range: $37.12 - $50.11 per hour.
Schedule
Full-time (36 hours/week), Day/Evening shifts, includes holiday and weekend commitment.
