Laborer NA-02.

Responsibilities

• Mows grass, lays sod, weeds flowerbeds, trims and edges walkways and lawns.
• Prunes shrubs and trees; applies fertilizer, waters plants, cleans drainage ditches, shovels snow from walks and driveways.
• Moves heavy furniture; loads and unloads conveyances; transports materials using wheelbarrows, hand trucks, or dollies; stacks and arranges supplies; collects refuse and recyclable materials.
• Performs routine maintenance on equipment; maintains stockroom and cleaning supplies.
• Cleans rugs and drapes; cleans, waxes, and polishes floors with industrial‑powered equipment.
• Adjusts, cleans, oils, and changes attachments on machines; washes and replaces room fixtures using ladders and scaffolds.
• Power washes, sweeps, mops, vacuums, strips, and polishes assigned areas using light and heavy‑duty powered equipment.
• Empties trash, disinfects toilets, washes walls, windows, blinds, and ceiling fans using ladders, scaffolds, and safety belts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Direct deposit and Social Security Card required.
• Must meet qualification, eligibility, and background requirements for the position.
• One‑year probationary period may be required.
• Successful completion of an employment verification (E‑Verify) check.
• Ability to frequently lift and carry moderate to heavy objects up to 50 lb.
• Ability to bend, stoop, stand, reach, and work in awkward positions.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Satisfactory completion of pre‑employment background checks in accordance with AR 215‑3, para 2.
• May be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for access to federally‑controlled facilities.
• Health assessment and physical are required.

Qualifications

• Three (3) months of laboring experience required.
• Ability to use, control, and clean tools and power equipment.
• Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions involving multiple distinct tasks without constant supervision.
• Resumes must be two pages or less and clearly demonstrate relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities.
• Minimum qualifications must be described within the duties of previous work experience on the resume or supporting documents.

This position does not have an education requirement.

Pay

• Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system.
• Overtime pay for work exceeding 8 hours in a day or 40 hours in a week, whichever is more beneficial.
• Sunday premium pay for work performed on Sundays.
• Potential extra pay for schedules where the majority of hours fall after 3:00 PM.

Schedule

• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
