Labor and Birth RN Residency

About the Role

Join a recognized Labor & Birth program as a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in obstetrical care, delivering comprehensive services from routine deliveries to high-risk maternal cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care for mothers, infants, and families across all childbirth stages
• Monitor and manage labor and high-risk patients, recognizing emergencies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and advocate for patients
• Lead clinical responses during emergencies and serve as a peer resource
• Educate families to promote positive outcomes

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current RN or Compact License
• BLS Certification; NRP and ACLS required
• Additional certifications and skills in fetal monitoring and critical thinking are preferred
