Labor and Birth RN Residency

About the role

Join a dynamic Labor & Birth team as a registered nurse, gaining hands-on experience across all levels of maternal care, including low-risk deliveries and high-risk antenatal cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in Labor & Birth, OB ED, and High-Risk units
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including OB hospitalists, anesthesiologists, and maternal fetal medicine specialists
• Participate in simulation training, classroom lectures, and hands-on preceptorship to develop critical skills
• Support patient safety and comfort, ensuring optimal outcomes

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Birth RN experience or new graduate for residency
• Nursing degree from an accredited institution
• Current RN license in the relevant state or a compact license
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS; additional certifications like RNC-OB or C-EFM encouraged
