About the role
This role is an integral part of LA Commons' mission-driven, nonprofit arts and culture organization. The Program Coordinator will support the maintenance and development of LA Commons’ partnerships programs, nurture relationships with partners and community members, and contribute positively to the work environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the maintenance and development of LA Commons’ partnerships programs
- Nurture relationships with partners and community members
- Contribute positively to the work environment
- Manage program activities of LA Commons’ placekeeping partnerships—Cultural Treasures of South LA, Historic South LA Black Cultural District, Keeping Place For Culture, and relevant programs
Requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with partners and community members
- Experience working with nonprofits and community organizations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
