At CGI, you will solve important business and technical problems as a full-time consultant serving local, enterprise clients. You'll be part of a team of dedicated professionals and make an impact with both internal and client partners. This position is located in Columbia, South Carolina in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure while ensuring compliance with enterprise cloud governance standards.
- Monitor production environments and support incident response.
- Develop governance dashboards and compliance reporting.
- Automate operational processes, implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), improve observability, and strengthen platform reliability.
- Automate preventative and corrective controls.
- Drive continuous operational improvements across AWS and other cloud platforms.
- Partner with development, infrastructure, and security teams.
Requirements
- 2+ years of strong hands-on experience supporting production environments in AWS.
- Solid understanding of AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Route 53, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, ELB, EBS, SQS, AMIs, and AWS CLI.
- AWS certification is required for senior positions.
- Experience implementing cloud governance frameworks, security controls, and compliance monitoring.
- Ability to build automated dashboards, operational reports, and compliance metrics.
- Strong scripting skills using Python, PowerShell, or Bash to automate operational tasks.
- Experience with production support, incident management, root cause analysis, and on-call support.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability platforms such as CloudWatch, Splunk, Dynatrace, or OpenTelemetry.
- Experience with AutoSys, RedHood, Apache Airflow, or other job management tools is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline preferred.
- This position requires multiple shift requirements (day, night, weekends, holidays, on-call, etc.).
Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $46,400 to $110,100.
