Key Duties
- Technical Sales Support: Provide technical sales support to depot staff and Groundcare sales teams. Deliver product demonstrations and support customer product evaluation; advise on correct products across robotics, hand tools, and battery systems. Support sales conversion for both professional and domestic customers.
- Installation & Commissioning: Deliver installation and setup of robotic mowers (RTK and wired systems). Commission systems on-site and ensure optimal performance. Provide handover and operator training to customers. Support more complex installations (RTK mapping, multi-zone setups).
- Customer Technical Support: Act as regional lead for technical queries and troubleshooting. Support onboarding and early-stage customer use. Deliver both remote and on-site technical support and ensure successful adoption of Kress technology.
- Aftersales & Service Support: Work closely with regional Service and Parts teams. Support repairs, maintenance / service contract delivery. Promote and support service packages and recurring revenue opportunities. Manage seasonal service workload within the region.
- Customer Relationship & Business Support: Maintain strong relationships with key customers in the region. Support repeat business and long-term product performance. Identify upgrade, accessory, & cross-sell opportunities, provide feedback on customer needs / regional trends.
Marketing, Demonstration Support & Training
- Supporting depot open days, events, and regional demonstrations. Act as product expert at trade shows and customer events. Assist with delivery of regular product training and support capability development across the wider team.
Requirements
The ideal applicant should have a strong technical understanding of Groundcare equipment and/or experience in turf, agricultural, construction equipment, and/or installation, commissioning or service roles. They should be able to diagnose faults and provide solutions, be confident delivering demonstrations and training, and have knowledge of robotic mower systems and battery technology. Multi-site dealership or territory-based support experience is preferred.
