About the role

The Knowledge Management Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the firm’s Knowledge and Research Services (KRS) Department. This position involves evaluating and integrating AI tools, developing training materials, and assisting attorneys and staff in adopting these tools effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Test and evaluate AI tools and platforms, documenting findings for the KRS team and firm leadership.
  • Develop and maintain AI training materials, prompt libraries, and user guidance for legal technology tools.
  • Aid attorneys and staff in understanding how to apply AI tools effectively and responsibly within their practice workflows.
  • Create and maintain practice resources including SharePoint-based sites, client-facing portals, and work product libraries.
  • Continuously improve the design and usability of knowledge resources, suggesting site architecture, navigation, and UX enhancements based on user feedback.
  • Gain a working understanding of firm systems, including business intake, matter experience tracking, and document management, to support efficient information retrieval and compliance.
  • Support end-to-end innovative technology initiatives in a law firm setting.
  • Assist with broader KRS and firm innovation projects as directed by team leadership.

Requirements

An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university is required. Backgrounds in law, public policy, information science, technology, economics, history, or international relations are welcomed, as demonstrated through coursework, extracurricular involvement, or prior work experience. Prior experience in a law firm, legal tech, or technology environment is a plus.

Skills, Knowledge And Abilities

  • Hands-on experience using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or similar.
  • Demonstrated interest in AI and the legal field through coursework, certifications, independent projects, internships, blogs, podcasts, conferences, or self-directed exploration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and web-based collaboration tools.
  • Experience testing, evaluating, and helping integrate generative AI platforms into legal workflows.
  • Ability to coordinate training sessions and guide attorneys and staff on knowledge management tools.
  • Exposure to legal processes, terminology, and sophisticated transactions and litigation through work alongside lawyers and business professionals across practice groups.

  • Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Range

$65,000 to $75,000
