For more information, visit www.gf.com. Summary Of Role GlobalFoundries is looking for a Technician for the Kitting & Parts Clean area. This role requires strong technical ability. Technicians must be able to perform parts cleaning duties, rebuild assemblies to the component level, follow standard work procedures, follow all safety guidelines and all quality controls. Essential Responsibilities Executing in person and online training activitiesPerform preventive maintenance on area equipmentComplete all required reporting and documentationCleaning tool parts to specification, using various techniquesRepairing tool parts - deconstructing and reconstructing as necessary Other Responsibilities Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programsOther duties as assigned by manager / supervisor Required Qualifications Education – High School Diploma or GED, or equivalentExperience - Mechanical Experience, demonstrated technical aptitudeFluency in English Language - both Written & VerbalPhysical Capacity Demands - 12-hour Alternate Workday Schedule, and able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds on a periodic basis throughout the shiftAbility to wear all required protective clothing and equipment, including cleanroom suit per needs of cleanroom requirementsAbility to work with semi-conductor cleaning chemicalsAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbility to perform work to defined specificationsAbility to prioritize activities in a fast-paced environmentStrong team member, able to work well with a global team Preferred Qualifications Proficiency with computer systems and software applications such as Microsoft OfficeEducation - associate's degree, or higher degree, in related engineering field (Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electronics Technology, etc.)Prior Semiconductor manufacturing experience, or experience in an industrial manufacturing setting Expected Salary Range $43,100.00 - $70,600.00 The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
