Kitting Technician

About the role

At DHL Supply Chain, you will play a part in one of the world’s most essential industries. The Kitting Technician assembles, inspects, cleans, packages, and kits machined parts and bought-in items for various customized kits in a fast-paced, clean-room environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and produce quality work free from errors in a clean-room environment.
• Maintain area and tool cleanliness.
• Perform complex assembly of modified parts to produce customized kits.
• Manage and control inventory.
• Use tools to assemble parts.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate Degree or equivalent in a related field of study.
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.
• Six months of experience in a complex kitting or assembly environment.
• Ability to work in a clean-room suit (bunny suit) for extended periods.

Schedule

First (1st) shift: Wednesday – Saturday, 7:00 PM – 5:30 AM.

Pay

$24.75 per hour, plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential.
