Kitchen Manager - Salary $60,000

Mission

Central City Tavern is seeking Kitchen Managers for their Sugar Hill and Alpharetta locations. They offer competitive salaries and benefits including health, dental, vision, and life insurances.

Responsibilities

• Maintain food quality with a sense of urgency towards check times
• Show strong communication skills and motivate the kitchen team
• Lead, teach, and develop current and new staff
• Prepare and create weekly specials
• Work 8-10 hour shifts, standing or walking for extended periods
• Able to transport to and from work reliably
• Handle knife skills and culinary cleanliness to meet health department standards
• Operate and safely manage kitchen equipment
• Clean and maintain stations while practicing good safety and sanitation
• Restock items as needed during the shift
• Write a weekly work schedule
• Use Excel spreadsheets for inventory and cost controls

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities, able to lead by example and remain upbeat and positive under pressure
