Kitchen Manager - Salary $60,000

Maintain food quality with sense of urgency towards check times

Strong communication skills with ability to motivate kitchen team

In charge of leading, teaching, and developing current and new staff

Help prepare and create weekly specials

Key responsibilities

• Work 8-10 hour plus shifts, ability to stand, or walk for extended periods of time
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Able to grasp, lift and or carry up to 50 pounds
• Knife skills to suit station prep
• Culinary cleanliness to health department code
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Clean and maintain station while practicing good safety and sanitation
• Restock items as needed throughout the shift
• Able to Write a Weekly Work Schedule
• Able to work with Excel spread sheets for inventory and cost controls

Qualifications

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities is a must, ability to lead by example, and stay upbeat and positive under pressure
