About the role
Works during busy "peak periods" in conjunction with both the kitchen and service department as a link ensuring food is made correctly and delivered to tables promptly.
Responsibilities
- Possesses proficient knowledge of the menu.
- Cooks and garnishes food according to specifications.
- Communicates errors or remakes dishes efficiently.
- Ensures food from the Expo area is quickly taken to each table or the Bar area.
- Restocks Expo area and prepares supplies for shift change and/or closing shifts.
- Adheres to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures throughout the shift.
- Completes opening, shift change, and closing checklists as well as weekly and monthly cleaning tasks.
Requirements
- Stands 100% of the shift.
- Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and wiping.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- Ability to write and read the English language.
- Good communication skills, friendly, and people-oriented.
- Enthusiastic, dependable, courteous, able to multitask.
- Possesses basic math skills.
