Responsibilities

• Design, sell, and order cabinetry projects
• Cultivate relationships to achieve high customer satisfaction and meet sales goals
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously from various project managers and clients
• Take projects from schematic design through permit level and construction documents
• Produce millwork fabrication drawings and work on moderately sized residential renovations
• Conduct all necessary field measurements and ensure their accuracy
• Communicate with engineers, interior designers, town officials, wood shop staff, vendors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
• Interact directly with homeowners
• Oversee multiple kitchen/bath projects throughout the year
• Achieve a sales goal set for the first 12 months, with anticipated annual growth

Requirements

• Minimum of three years’ experience in kitchen and bath design
• Experience with leading cabinetry brands
• Project estimating experience
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to thrive in an energetic, fast‑paced environment
• Positive attitude, willingness to work independently or as part of a team
• Passion for residential design and strong customer service orientation
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, organized
• Proficiency in 20/20; experience with Mozaik, AutoCAD, and SketchUp preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
• Comfortable conducting virtual and/or in‑person meetings
• Physical ability to sit for extended periods, stand, walk, and inspect job sites; occasional access to eaves, attics, and crawlspaces; lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend/stand as needed
