Kitchen & Bath Design Consultant

East Coast Lumber is a full-service professional lumber yard and building supply company located in East Hampstead, NH that has been family owned and operated since 1976. By supplying local builders, remodelers, and homeowners with all their building needs, we have become a preferred supplier of lumber and building materials, kitchen & bath products, builder’s hardware, millwork, and equipment sales, rentals, and service.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners and contractors; listen and understand their needs and recommend the best solution for their home project.
• Offer clientele a comprehensive design experience, helping them select colors and materials from floor to ceiling for their remodeling projects.
• Follow up on all new and existing leads.
• Answer all incoming calls promptly and professionally.
• Handle client inquiries and complaints with professionalism; collaborate with management on any project-related issues.
• Input and maintain all data related to leads and scheduling in the Point of Sale system and department lead sheet.
• Conduct regular follow-up with prospects who have not yet scheduled an estimate or made a purchase.
• Demonstrate product features, advantages, and benefits, presenting all options to fit the client’s needs, wants, and budget.
• Read home blueprints and use a tape measure for on-site field measures (training available for the right candidate).
• Work in a positive, team-oriented atmosphere with co-workers.

Requirements

• Comfortable using computers and working independently with clients.
• Meticulous attention to detail, ability to multitask, and self-motivation.
• Sales experience preferred but not required; willing to train the right candidate who is driven and self-motivated.
• Experience with 20/20 CAD design program is a plus but not required (training available).
