Job Description

Retail Design Consultant - Houston, TX

• Compensation: $25.50 - $27.50 per hour + quarterly bonuses based on sales and prospecting success.
• Bonuses: Uncapped commission structure.

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years in design, preferably within a design firm or high-end furniture retailer.
• Portfolio: Professional portfolio required.
• Familiarity: Knowledge of Perigold supplier brands, materials, and custom programs is a plus.
• Projects: Proven track record of managing large-scale projects for luxury B2C and trade customers.
• Skills: Passion for design, excellent customer service, and strong sales targets.
• Technical: Strong organizational, self-motivation, communication, and relationship management skills; proficiency in relevant software like Google Suites, Microsoft Office, Salesforce, DesignFiles, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Revit, etc.
• Teamwork: Ability to work in a team environment.
• Environment: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands

• Physical requirements: Valid driver's license for in-home design visits; frequent standing, walking, talking, hearing, handling, feeling, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Vision: Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
