Your New Role
Pay Range: $22.96 - $28.70 / hour; based on experience.
Hours: Open availability preferred
Responsibilities
- Welcome and provide excellent customer service to members and guardians, overseeing fun and safe activities with children.
- Ensure the Kids Club looks its best by completing and coordinating daily cleaning tasks.
- Prevent and guide your team through elevated member concerns, elevated behavioral issues, and emergent facilities issues.
- Maintain a positive, friendly, and caring rapport with children and their guardians, prioritizing safety.
- Provide real-time feedback to Kids Club Chuzers and partner with the General Manager on formal coaching, performance reviews, and recruiting new talent.
- Support a seamless member experience by maintaining knowledge of general front desk operations.
- Own administrative processes such as reporting, email communications, Kids Club scheduling, and inventory maintenance.
- Work in close collaboration with the General Manager in all aspects of Kids Club operations, performance, labor management, turnover, and quality assurance.
Requirements
- 18+ years of age
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in Childcare
- 2-3 years of experience leading a team
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills over the phone and in person
- Able to maintain a positive rapport with children
- Team-based mindset with the capacity to receive and deliver feedback
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Able to work varied hours, weekends, and opening/closing shifts regularly or as needed
Preferences
- Bachelor's degree or current continued education in early childhood education
Physical Abilities
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
- Ability to walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive arm and hand movements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to operate a telephone, computer, and other standard office equipment
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently and heavier loads with assistance when needed
