Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall operation, sales, and administration of the Gift Shop
- Purchase merchandise for resale and organize merchandise displays
- Maintain and manage inventory, including fixed and satellite and temporary locations
- Develop and implement an online gift shop, including posting on the website
- Train staff in operation of point-of-sale system and operation of cash drawers
- Provide backup support to Visitor Center activities and functions
- Ensure customers receive quality service and resolve complaints or issues
Requirements
- High School graduate
- Two years of experience managing a retail business
- Substitute Education for Experience: College or vocational education with a major in sales, marketing, or a related field
Qualifications
- Customer service skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
