About the role
Sandoz seeks a dynamic Key Account Manager (KAM) to drive sales, promotion, and development in designated accounts. This role requires a minimum of 10 years overall healthcare sales experience, with at least 5 years in institutional sales, specifically Key Account Management.
Responsibilities
- Develop customer development strategy and dedicated KAM action plans for assigned accounts
- Align on account objectives and execute strategic plans
- Negotiate contracts and guide company initiatives targeting specific accounts
- Analyze market situation, including competitive intelligence activities on key accounts and competitors
- Organize customer events and other programs independently or with marketing/medical departments
- Contribute to stakeholder mapping, including segmentation and profiling, and provide accurate and timely data for Sandoz CRM system
- Drive sales operations plan and achieve agreed sales and broader performance targets
- Develop and manage an effective sales team through training and coaching or management of key commercial programs
- Report technical complaints/adverse events/special case scenarios related to Sandoz products within 24 hours of receipt
- Distribute marketing samples (where applicable)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (BS or BA) from an accredited college/university
- Advanced Degree (MBA, MS, etc.) preferred
- Minimum of 10 years overall healthcare sales experience, including 5 years in institutional sales (Key Account Management)
- Biosimilar sales experience preferred
- Ability to operate and drive an automobile safely

Pay and Schedule
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $138,600 - $257,400 USD/year. Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The total compensation package may also include a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards.
