About The Position
The Purpose of the Key Account Manager role is to oversee strategic accounts, bridging partners and development teams. You’ll manage project lifecycles, collaborate internally to deliver milestones, and align with key clients’ goals to ensure long-term satisfaction and strong relationships.
Responsibilities
- Act as both a partner advocate within Virtuos and a Virtuos advocate within our key partners
- Maintain industry knowledge on your key partner’s past, current, and future titles and proactively suggest options for expanding efficiency, content, or reach
- Facilitate regular, timely, and thorough communication with partners to maintain strong business relationships and identify projected production needs
- Engage with partners and liaise with internal Virtuos teams in order to facilitate production needs
- Aid Virtuos teams in managing project development and planning
- Collaborate with Producers and Art Directors on a regular basis to meet partner/studio requests
- Set and manage partner’s expectations
- Communicate project plans with partners and provide feedback to Virtuos teams
- Facilitate calls/meetings between partners and Virtuos teams in China / Vietnam / Ireland / France and manage/monitor progress of contracts, agreements, invoices
- Maintain and grow deep, trusted, and long-standing relationships with key partners in an effort to help them attain their goals while in turn attaining Virtuos’s goals
- Travel for both partner visits and occasional trips to Virtuos’s world-wide studios
- Manage partner feedback during and post project as a part of the Virtuos internal improvement processes
- Assist Key Account Director in Business Development initiatives and strategies in North America; including identifying new opportunities within your Key Account’s, gathering data, and preparing reports
- Manage Salesforce management and account tracking
- Represent Virtuos at key industry events
- Facilitate onboarding of partner projects and due diligence process
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3 - 4 years' similar industry-related business development experience
- Ability to work with direct and external partners
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
- Focused and goal-oriented
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- English (both written and spoken) proficiency
- Fluency bilingual (French and other languages an asset)
- Willing to travel for work
- Passion for making and playing games
Pay
This position offers a combination of base salary and performance-based variable compensation, with total on-target earnings expected to range between $170,000 – $220,000. Virtuos maintains a location-based compensation structure; therefore, the salary range may vary for candidates residing in different geographic markets.
