Responsibilities
- Relationship building within a customer’s hierarchy utilizing company resources and expertise that span across functions
- Assess customer challenges that present opportunities where we can bring immediate available solutions to solve customer problems
- Grow share of wallet by leveraging other company packaging offerings across the customer’s business
- Understand the importance of sustainability and recycling initiatives are to our customers and the markets they participate in
- Performing regular Quarterly Business Reviews with your customer to assess progress towards mutual goals and targets with next steps
- Negotiate long-term agreements that optimize margin while driving unit growth and top line revenue
- Sell and defend the value that you and Mauser bring to the customer
- Be proficient in company Salesforce CRM and Power BI and utilize it effectively within your area of responsibility
- Proactively in pricing strategies and the importance of selling through material cost changes and the value that Mauser provides
- Work collaboratively across the business to identify and support company initiatives to standardize or reduce cost and waste
- Absorb SIOP to manage sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors strategies
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
Qualifications
- BA/BS Engineering, Business, Sales, Marketing or Communications
- Strong background in Sales and the Packaging industry
- Proven record of delivering YoY growth
- Proficient with CRM tools to aid in territory and customer management
- Strong communication skills both written and oral
- Proven ability to analyze customer trends, financials and data, and make recommendations on strategy and customer management
- Minimum 5 yrs of experience managing a large complex customer base
- Minimum 7 yrs of direct sales experience and a track record of delivering results
