Junior Site Coordinator

About the role

The Family Service Association is seeking a full-time (35+) hour per week Junior Site Coordinator for their Afterschool Daycare Program. The position starts at $21 per hour with standard hours of 9:30 a.m.- 5:30 p.m. Monday - Friday, with potential early morning shifts based on program needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that children are supervised at all times.
• Implement scheduled activities.
• Complete lesson plans, progress reports, and staff observations on time with input from other staff.
• Maintain a safe environment by monitoring the site and equipment for potential problems and providing reports to the Senior Site Coordinator.
• Maintain equipment and daycare property.
• Maintain child files and FFS reassessments.
• Oversee staff time sheets and other required paperwork.
• Attend required meetings and staff trainings.
• Supervise compliance with EEC regulations.
• Oversee monitors and monitor schedules for transportation.
• Maintain regular communication with parents, schools, and agencies.

Requirements

• A Junior Site Coordinator shall be at least 20 years of age and meet one of the following requirements:
• - Have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Guidance, Human Services, Nursing, Psychology, Physical Education, Recreation, Child Psychology, the Arts, Social Work, Sociology, or Child Care; and have at least 6 months of experience working with School Age children.
• - Have a Bachelor’s Degree in any field or an Associate’s Degree in a related field; and has 9 months of experience working with School Age children.
• - Have a high school diploma or equivalent; and has one year of experience working with School Age children.
