Junior Site Coordinator
About the role
The Family Service Association is seeking a full-time (35+) hour per week Junior Site Coordinator for their Afterschool Daycare Program. The position starts at $21 per hour with standard hours of 9:30 a.m.- 5:30 p.m. Monday - Friday, with potential early morning shifts based on program needs.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that children are supervised at all times.
- Implement scheduled activities.
- Complete lesson plans, progress reports, and staff observations on time with input from other staff.
- Maintain a safe environment by monitoring the site and equipment for potential problems and providing reports to the Senior Site Coordinator.
- Maintain equipment and daycare property.
- Maintain child files and FFS reassessments.
- Oversee staff time sheets and other required paperwork.
- Attend required meetings and staff trainings.
- Supervise compliance with EEC regulations.
- Oversee monitors and monitor schedules for transportation.
- Maintain regular communication with parents, schools, and agencies.
Requirements
- A Junior Site Coordinator shall be at least 20 years of age and meet one of the following requirements:
- - Have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Guidance, Human Services, Nursing, Psychology, Physical Education, Recreation, Child Psychology, the Arts, Social Work, Sociology, or Child Care; and have at least 6 months of experience working with School Age children.
- - Have a Bachelor’s Degree in any field or an Associate’s Degree in a related field; and has 9 months of experience working with School Age children.
- - Have a high school diploma or equivalent; and has one year of experience working with School Age children.
