JUNIOR RESPONSE MANAGER

Key Responsibilities

• Enforce company safety policies, lead daily safety meetings, and ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
• Mentor crew members and lead by example.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of Federal, State and Local environmental regulations/laws.
• Supervise the proper handling, packaging, and labeling of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials.
• Supervise crews conducting confined space entry, emergency response, excavation, and decontamination activities.
• Communicate professionally with co-workers, customers, subcontractors, and regulators.
• Track project costs and work within budgets.
• Complete project documentation accurately and timely.

Job Requirements

• Occasional travel is required.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, and pre-employment physical exam.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States (Verified through E-Verify).
• Hold a valid driver’s license with an excellent driving history.

Qualifications

• Environmental experience.
• Hazardous waste experience and certification (i.e. OSHA 40hr HAZWOPER).
• CDL, heavy equipment operation and maintenance experience (a plus).
