Responsibilities
- Assist with managing residential remodeling and construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
- Cook with subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, and inspections.
- Maintain project schedules and proactively identify potential delays.
- Conduct regular site visits and document progress.
- Maintain positive and professional communication with homeowners.
- Provide project updates and address concerns promptly.
- Support the delivery of an exceptional customer experience.
- Aid in monitoring project budgets and job costs.
- Review invoices, change orders, and purchase orders.
- Help maintain project profitability goals.
- Develop relationships with quality subcontractors and suppliers.
- Aid in sourcing new trade partners.
- Ensure vendors meet KC's expectations for quality, responsiveness, and professionalism.
- Utilize JobTread and company systems to maintain project documentation.
- Follow established company SOPs and project management processes.
- Maintain accurate project records, schedules, and communication logs.
- Promote jobsite safety and cleanliness.
- Conduct quality checks throughout project execution.
- Ensure work meets company standards and client expectations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Construction Management, Business, or related education preferred.
- 2+ years of residential construction experience preferred.
- Previous experience as a lead carpenter, assistant project manager, superintendent, or project coordinator is a plus.
- Knowledge of residential remodeling practices, codes and sequencing.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Problem-solving mindset.
- Basic understanding of project scheduling and budgeting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
