Junior IT Specialist
About the role
Koniag Professional Services, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Junior IT Specialist with a TS/SCI security clearance to support KPS and our government customer at Fort Bragg, NC.
Responsibilities
- Provide IT support for JSOC and the subordinate commands.
- Support IT systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and assist with software and hardware maintenance.
- Aid users with technical problems.
- Maintain network security.
- Ensure systems run smoothly.
- Install updates.
- Manage IT documentation.
- Support AV system operations.
- Work under senior specialists to develop technical skills.
Requirements
- TS/SCI security clearance
- Security + certification
- High School Diploma
- US Citizen
- Valid driver’s license
- Insurable
- Able to stand, kneel, and crouch for long periods of time
- Able to climb ladders and scaffolding
- Able to lift in excess of 50 pounds
- Able to work in high places and in small cramped places
- Able to work in hot humid places as well as cold places
- Able to maintain technical capability, professionalism, self-motivation, self-discipline, focus, and attention to detail while under pressure from deadlines
- Able to maintain a safety-minded approach to all activities
Qualifications
- Must be insurable
- Must be able to work in various work sites, which can vary from finished executive boardrooms to new construction sites
- Majority of work is indoors, but site conditions vary drastically
- Appropriate dress is required pursuant to the dress-code found within the Employee Handbook
