Responsibilities
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, monitors, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues including component failures, peripheral connectivity problems, and performance concerns.
- Perform workstation imaging, deployment, and replacement activities.
- Aid employees with technical support requests through the IT help desk system.
- Assist with setting up and supporting conference room technology and audiovisual equipment.
Manufacturing Systems Support
- Support computers, terminals, barcode scanners, label printers, and other technology used throughout the manufacturing facility.
- Aid with troubleshooting hardware issues affecting production operations.
- Collaborate with production supervisors to minimize downtime related to IT equipment.
- Maintain inventory and documentation of manufacturing technology assets.
Asset Management
- Track IT equipment inventory, warranties, and lifecycle replacements.
- Prepare and deploy hardware for new hires and employee transfers.
- Manage hardware disposal and recycling in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate asset records and equipment assignments.
Infrastructure Support
- Afford assistance with basic network troubleshooting, including cabling, switches, wireless access points, and connectivity issues.
- Support user account administration within Microsoft environments.
- Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and patching under supervision.
- Afford assistance with backup verification and disaster recovery procedures.
Security & Compliance
- Follow cybersecurity best practices and company security policies.
- Afford assistance with endpoint security software deployment and monitoring.
- Report potential security incidents and vulnerabilities.
- Afford assistance with IT documentation and standard operating procedures.
