About the role
Old Republic Title is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Escrow Officer to join our growing team in Alpharetta, Georgia. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in title, escrow, real estate, mortgage, or closing operations who is ready to take the next step in their career.
Responsibilities
- Support the escrow process from opening through closing on commercial real estate transactions.
- Cook up with buyers, sellers, lenders, attorneys, brokers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely closings.
- Review transaction files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with commercial closing requirements.
- Prepare and process closing documentation, escrow instructions, settlement statements, and other transaction-related paperwork.
- Affix to scheduling closings and proactively communicate transaction updates to all parties.
- Maintain organized electronic files and ensure documentation is complete throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Respond promptly and professionally to client, attorney, lender, and internal team inquiries.
- Ensure transactions comply with company policies, underwriting guidelines, and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with escrow officers and teammates to deliver exceptional service on complex commercial transactions.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience in escrow, title, real estate, mortgage lending, or closing coordination - commercial experience preferred.
- Candidates with strong administrative or customer service experience in a professional office environment and an interest in commercial real estate are encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with commercial real estate transactions, closing documents, title commitments, and settlement processes is preferred.
