Junior Data Analyst

Sight Sea Travel is looking for a Junior Data Analyst to support vacation planning, cruises, all-inclusive travel, reservations, customer service, and itinerary support. The position is full time, 100% remote, and open to candidates throughout the United States.

About the role

As the Junior Data Analyst, you will analyze business data and turn it into accurate reports, trends, and practical insights.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze data connected to vacation planning, cruises, all-inclusive travel, reservations, customer service, and itinerary support from approved spreadsheets, reports, databases, and business systems.
• Build and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, and tracking files for key performance measures.
• Investigate unusual values, missing records, and data inconsistencies and document the resolution across vacation planning and reservations.
• Translate analysis into clear summaries that explain trends, changes, exceptions, and business impact for the Sight Sea Travel team.
• Maintain calculation logic, filters, metric definitions, and source notes so reporting remains reproducible while supporting vacation planning and reservations.
• Support ad hoc analysis requests while protecting confidential business and customer information.

Requirements

• Relevant analytical training or practical experience; analyst-level experience is preferred for associate roles.
• Strong spreadsheet skills and familiarity with SQL, BI, reporting, or visualization tools.
• Comfort working with large datasets and checking calculations, filters, joins, and source quality.
• Ability to explain analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and attention-to-detail skills.
• A pre-employment background check is required.

Pay

$71,000 - $80,000 per year
