Junior Data Analyst

Responsibilities

We are looking for a motivated Junior Data Analyst to join our analytics team. • Assist in gathering and preparing data from various sources for analysis.
• Conduct preliminary data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings to team members and stakeholders.
• Support the team in standardizing data sets and ensuring data quality.
• Collaborate with senior analysts to understand business needs and provide insights.
• Document analytical processes and maintain accurate records of data sources.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and findings.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Economics. 0-3 years of experience in data analysis, statistics, or a related field. Basic knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Excel, SQL). Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with large datasets. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Desired Qualifications: Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. Familiarity with statistical analysis methods and software. Knowledge of data management best practices including SQL. Prior internship or coursework in data analysis or a related area is beneficial.
