About the role

The Jr. Process Review Technician works under the guidance of experienced technicians to review components and their related documentation, confirming all specified work has been completed accurately. They verify that each technician has finalized tasks and documented all work performed in accordance with required standards. The technician also installs safety wire and preserves civil aviation articles following current technical data provided in manufacturers’ Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Service Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices, and other FAA-acceptable or approved data.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in reviewing all documentation for correctness before transferring the component to the next stage in the process.
  • Identify and communicate any exceptions or discrepancies in documentation or component compliance directly with the responsible technicians.
  • Ensure technicians have accurately documented all work performed, including signoffs, part usage, and procedural notes.
  • Utilize the ERP system to review customer purchase orders to ensure components are completed per customer request.
  • Review service bulletins performed and ensure they are properly completed and documented.
  • Coordinate component priority level to be processed.
  • Communicate priority challenges to the Production Coordinator and Final Inspection team for clarification.
  • Preserve components in accordance with the component maintenance manuals (CMM’s).
  • Install safety cable on accessories after the final function test has been performed.
  • Install shipping caps and plugs onto accessories.
  • Document maintenance records of all work performed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 2+ years of relevant/technical work experience.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn aviation maintenance documentation requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and work instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to learn ERP systems and electronic documentation.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently on routine tasks while seeking guidance when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in the aviation industry.
  • Document review experience.
  • High mechanical aptitude.

The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.
