Journeyman Field Technician / Mechanic

About the role
As a Journeyman Field Technician / Mechanic, you will work on construction and forestry equipment at customer locations to ensure optimal performance and uptime. You’ll travel the area in a fully loaded Pape’ service vehicle, perform high-quality repairs, and interact with customers to deliver reliable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair all brands of heavy diesel equipment in the field.
- Perform top-notch maintenance and repairs to maximize equipment uptime.
- Travel to customer locations in a company service vehicle.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Provide excellent customer service and communication.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing heavy diesel equipment.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Self-motivation and ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Must provide own tools.
