Joint Exercise Operational Environment Specialist
About the role
As a Joint Exercise Operational Environment Specialist, you’ll bring your strategic and technical subject matter expertise background to collaborate with thought leaders in multi-domain operations and simulation on projects for joint military exercises for a Combatant Command client. You will use your skills as you develop, manage, and assess the operational environment for complex joint training scenarios focused on the Space domain. Collaborating with USSPACECOM J2, other Directorates and Components to develop adversary threat scenarios and intelligence products for input into the design of Tier-1 and Tier-2 exercises.
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and assess the operational environment for complex joint training scenarios focused on the Space domain
- Collaborate with USSPACECOM J2, other Directorates and Components to develop adversary threat scenarios and intelligence products for input into the design of Tier-1 and Tier-2 exercises
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience with military exercise planning, space operations or space intelligence
- Experience supporting a Combatant Command or joint command
- Knowledge of Space domain operations and their integration with other warfighting domains
- Knowledge of scenario development and Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) management processes
- Ability to confidently brief and advise senior military leaders
- TS/SCI clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Preferred Skills
- Experience with the Maven Smart System
- Experience working as an exercise controller or scenario manager
- Knowledge of the Joint Training Tool (JTT)
- Knowledge of other operational domains such as Air, Land, Maritime, or Cyber and their dependencies on the Space domain

Pay
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $130,000-$150,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
