Job Details

We are seeking an Interventional Radiologist for a full-time locum tenens position in Illinois. Providers will deliver a full range of image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for both inpatient and outpatient services.

Responsibilities

• Monday–Friday, consecutive shifts preferred, 20+ shifts/month, no weekends
• CT- and ultrasound-guided biopsies (lung, thyroid, renal, liver, bone, lymph node, bone marrow)
• Drain placements and management (abscess drains, chest tubes, drain exchanges)
• Biliary interventions
• Gastrointestinal and genitourinary procedures
• Vascular access and hemodialysis access procedures
• Oncology-related interventional procedures
• Collaborate with referring physicians, hospital teams, and procedural staff
• EMR: Epic

Qualifications

• Board Certified (IR)
• MD or DO
• Active Illinois medical license
• DEA and ACLS required
• Minimum 1 year of IR experience
