About the Role

We are seeking a psychiatrist to serve as a Clinical Director for a 16-bed inpatient Community Behavioral Health Hospital (CBHH) in Minnesota. This is a 3- or 6-month locum tenens assignment with the potential to extend, providing interim leadership.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• No call

Patient Population

• Primarily adults, ages 18–90+
• Average stay: 30–90 days

Systems

• EMR: Avatar

Requirements

• Active Minnesota medical license or IMLC
• Psychiatrist qualified for clinical leadership responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Oversee the medical care of patients
• Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team (APRNs, RNs, psychologists, social workers) and hospital administrator
• Focus on quality patient care, clinical leadership, and team collaboration

There is no productivity requirement, allowing the physician to prioritize patient care and leadership.
