About the role

We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician for outpatient locum tenens coverage at a community health center in Alabama. This opportunity features a Monday–Friday schedule, no call, and a manageable patient volume of 17–20 patients per day. The practice serves all ages, with many pediatric patients.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• No call
• Assignment duration: 3–6 months, starting as soon as possible, with option to extend

Support

• Medical Assistant (MA) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) office support staff
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to be determined

Requirements

• Board Certified in Family Medicine
• Active Alabama medical license
• DEA certification
• BLS certification
