About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Optometrist to join a family-oriented practice group that provides full-service vision care for children and adults. This role involves delivering top-notch eye care in a fast-paced environment where you can make a meaningful difference in patients' lives.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision tests
• Diagnose defects of the eye, such as myopia, astigmatism, and glaucoma
• Provide personalized temporary and permanent solutions to visual impairments based on each patient’s specific case and medical history
• Prescribe medications, eyeglasses, and contact lenses
• Advise patients on proper eye care techniques
• Keep updated and accurate medical records for all patients
• Advise patients on how to use and maintain their contact lenses
• Co-manage patients with local Ophthalmologists

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the optometrist should be detail-oriented, able to treat patients with kindness and discretion, and comfortable working with diverse age groups, from young children to the elderly.
