Primary Function
The primary function of the Janitor position is to maintain a clean facility by completing a variety of cleaning tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform cleaning throughout the plant, with specific responsibilities to include office areas, breakrooms, and multiply bathrooms.
- Cleanliness of all employee restrooms, employee breakrooms, common areas, and offices as designated by management.
- Basic trash removal from outside areas of the building, including patio area, smoking area and all common areas surrounding the facility.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Prior experience cleaning in a manufacturing or hospital setting.
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Proven ability to react to business needs.
- Individual must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to always maintain high cleanliness standards.
- (This is a food manufacturing facility)
- Ability to use all janitorial equipment and dispense chemicals after being trained.
- Two to four years prior experience in a janitorial position.
