IT Systems Administrator
Responsibilities
- Deliver onsite and remote technical assistance for employees, resolving issues involving computers, software applications, printers, connectivity, and security tools.
- Administer core Microsoft technologies, including Windows-based systems, Outlook, Teams, and related business productivity platforms.
- Cook up employee onboarding and offboarding by preparing laptops, creating and removing accounts, assigning access, and ensuring a smooth technical setup.
- Support the organization’s infrastructure by maintaining servers, network devices, and Cisco-related equipment across the environment.
- Manage user access and device support for remote staff, helping maintain secure and dependable connectivity for a distributed workforce.
- Contribute to IT planning efforts by identifying system needs, recommending improvements, and participating in practical technology decisions.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and help ensure information is transferred correctly into required healthcare-related systems when necessary.
- Provide support for business applications such as QuickBooks, Paycom, and Salesforce as needed, coordinating troubleshooting and user guidance.
- Monitor and organize technology assets and equipment to help keep daily operations running efficiently across the organization.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in IT systems administration and end-user support within a Microsoft-based environment.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server, and Windows 10 administration.
- Ability to configure devices, manage user accounts, and support onboarding for both onsite and remote employees.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, and basic network connectivity issues.
- Familiarity with network infrastructure and support for technologies such as Cisco and Citrix environments.
- Experience with Dell hardware and general device lifecycle support is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to assist non-technical users in a clear and detail-oriented manner.
- Exposure to applications such as QuickBooks, Paycom, or Salesforce is helpful but not required.
Qualifications
