IT Support Technician I

About the role

NFM’s I.T. Support Technician I provides excellent customer service in assisting all Retail store-level and Home Office staff with technical support of hardware, software, and application problems. Your work will directly impact our ability to help people create a lifestyle they love, for the people they love.

Responsibilities

• Support staff with installation, move, configuration, and ongoing usability of POS/Desktop/Telephone devices, peripheral equipment, software, and applications
• Determine why equipment is not working by analyzing the situation and performing repairs
• Provide preventive maintenance as necessary for appropriate hardware and update service tickets with steps performed
• Communicate status of open issues with Manager, Solution Center, and staff
• Test and physically examine equipment to diagnose issues and perform repairs

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Information Systems or PC/computer diagnosis and repair, or equivalent experience
• 0 - 2 years experience with communications devices and computer-related hardware; installation, diagnosis, and repair
• Basic understanding of operating systems of end-user devices and their relationship to application software and network connectivity
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Pay

$24.65–$30.57 hourly
