IT Support Technician I

Summary

Responsible for support of PCs, printers, and related equipment in person, by phone, and through remote screen sharing. Also provides end user support, upgrades, setting up new computers, and other online technologies. Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following essential job functions:

Education and/or Experience

Typically requires a high school diploma, or equivalent. (2) years of relevant technical experience preferred. Associates degree in Information Systems, or related, preferred. Experience with Windows required.

Skills

Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion is a must. Requires a solutions-oriented, problem solver with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective work relationships.

Wage and Salary Compensation Information

Minimum Annual Salary $50,000 – Maximum Annual Salary $75,000. The annual target salary in the Washington, DC job market is listed above. The compensation for this position will be based on education, certifications, experience, expertise, and skills of the successful candidate. The compensation range listed above is not reflective of total compensation and does not include any other fringe benefits offered to full-time employees.
