IT Support Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Support users in person, remotely, and by phone
  • Manage IT tickets
  • Onboard and offboard employees
  • Configure devices
  • Maintain equipment inventory
  • Document IT procedures

Qualifications

  • Preferred: 1–3 years of IT support, technical support, or help desk experience in a business environment
  • Practical experience troubleshooting Windows desktops, laptops, and supporting end users with hardware, of network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, printers, and common connectivity troubleshooting
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, and business software
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve common technical issues independently, seeking guidance from senior IT staff when appropriate
  • Experience configuring, deploying, and supporting desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and related peripherals
  • Strong communication, customer service, and training skills with the ability to support users of varying technical backgrounds in office, shop, and field environments
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage support tickets, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between company locations as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, stand, walk and sit
  • Able to commute between company locations locally for support and repairs
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
