About the role
The Role
- Provides in-depth support and leads problem-solving and implementation efforts for specific technology products or applications.
- Applies specific functional and general industry knowledge to develop or contribute to solutions for a variety of moderate scope and complexity problems.
- Works independently with some guidance and may review or guide activities of more junior employees.
- Supports secure environments, particularly those related to government defense sectors.
- Delivers Tier I, II, and III support for Windows-based systems.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience supporting secure environments, such as those in the DoD.
- 4+ years of experience providing Tier I, II, and III support for Windows-based systems.
- Experience supporting Windows and Linux environments in a production setting.
- Experience creating and deploying desktop operating system images and working with cloud services.
- Experience with basic administration of VTC or VoIP systems.
- Experience updating and managing antivirus and anti-malware products.
- Knowledge of LAN technologies, including Layer 2 switching and Layer 3 routing.
- TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor's degree.
- CompTIA Security+ Certification.
