IT Support Specialist

Necessary qualifications
- Bachelor’s in related field or equivalent experience, with 2-4 years related experience preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
- Pleasant, patient, and friendly attitude
- Strong decision making and analytical abilities
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well within a team
- Self-starter; flexible to take on new initiatives
Day in the life
- Hardware deployments and replacements, including workstations, laptops, and mobile devices
- Hardware support (Windows 10, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft, A/V systems, and iOS and Android mobile devices, printers, copiers)
- Application installation and support (Outlook, Office Suite, Exchange Active Sync for both iOS and Android, VPN, and other applications)
- Basic LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi support and troubleshooting
- Office 365 support and administration
- New computer/user set up in an active directory/Exchange environment
- Interfacing between end-users and various other technology professionals
- Aid in researching and recommending new hardware and software
- Support the delivery of an Enterprise-wide implementation of Procore
- Partner with other Technology teams in the identification, development, and delivery of solutions and products supporting Construction Operations and integration with other enterprise applications
- Use an entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving with a sense of urgency while ensuring a disciplined/structured approach
