IT Specialist (Part-Time) Location: Delaware (Statewide) - Travel Required Throughout Delaware Job Type: Part-Time (20 hours per week) About Impact Life Impact Life is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals through behavioral health, recovery support, housing, harm reduction, and community-based services throughout Delaware. Our mission is to inspire hope, promote recovery, and strengthen communities by providing compassionate, person-centered care. We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and customer-focused IT Specialist to serve as the organization's primary internal technology resource. This position provides both strategic oversight and hands-on technical support while ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of technology systems across multiple office and program locations throughout Delaware. The ideal candidate is a self-directed IT professional who is comfortable managing technology independently while partnering with organizational leadership to support operational excellence and organizational growth. Position Summary The IT Specialist is responsible for the administration, maintenance, security, and continuous improvement of Impact Life's technology infrastructure. This position combines systems administration, technology planning, cybersecurity, vendor coordination, and end-user support to ensure employees have reliable technology resources to successfully carry out the organization's mission. This position serves as Impact Life's primary internal technology resource and requires a high degree of independence, initiative, and sound judgment. The IT Specialist is responsible for balancing strategic technology management with responsive day-to-day support while ensuring technology systems remain secure, reliable, and aligned with organizational needs. Essential Duties And Responsibilities End User Support Provide timely technical support to employees for hardware, software, printers, mobile devices, and other technology equipmentInstall, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, monitors, printers, scanners, and peripheralsDiagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issuesCoordinate employee technology onboarding and offboarding, including equipment setup, account creation, and equipment recoveryMaintain technology asset inventory and equipment recordsProvide technical support for conference room technology and audio/visual equipment Microsoft 365 Administration Administer Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, user account management, licensing, security settings, and multi-factor authenticationCreate, modify, and disable user accounts and permissionsManage Microsoft 365 licensing and user accessSupport collaboration tools and assist users with Microsoft applications Infrastructure Management Maintain office technology infrastructure, including wireless networks, internet connectivity, printers, and technology equipmentSupport and maintain Ubiquiti networking equipment and Ubiquiti Protect security camera systemsCoordinate hardware deployments, upgrades, replacements, and preventative maintenanceMaintain technology documentation, inventories, and standard operating proceduresRecommend technology improvements that enhance organizational efficiency and security Organizational Systems Support Provide technical support and administration for organizational technology platforms, including but not limited to: Microsoft 365SlackBehave Electronic Medical Record (EMR)ADP Workforce NowReliasWorkableSignNowAdobe Creative Cloud Cybersecurity Maintain endpoint security and support cybersecurity best practicesCoordinate software updates, operating system updates, and patch managementPromote safe technology practices through employee educationAssist with backup verification and disaster recovery planningRespond appropriately to technology security incidents Vendor Management Serve as the primary point of contact for technology vendors and service providersCoordinate hardware purchases, warranty support, software licensing, and equipment repairsEvaluate technology solutions and make recommendations that support organizational goals Technology Planning Recommend technology improvements that enhance operational efficiency, security, and user experienceAssist leadership with technology planning, budgeting recommendations, and technology lifecycle replacement planningMaintain documentation of technology systems, configurations, and standard operating proceduresSupport technology projects from planning through implementation Technology Environment The IT Specialist will support technology systems including, but not limited to: Microsoft weekRegular schedule is Monday through Friday during normal business hoursWork schedule may be flexible based on organizational needs and mutual agreementOccasional evening or weekend availability is required to support technology projects, system maintenance, organizational events, emergency technical issues, or other business needsRegular travel between Impact Life locations throughout Delaware is required Requirements Required Qualifications Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experienceMinimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible IT experienceDemonstrated experience administering Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, user account management, licensing, security settings, and multi-factor authenticationExperience supporting Windows-based computers, hardware deployment, software installation, and office technologyExperience maintaining office technology infrastructure, including wireless networks, printers, and related equipmentStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skillsExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities while working independentlyValid driver's license with reliable transportation and the ability to travel between Impact Life locations throughout Delaware Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably Behave or a comparable healthcare platformExperience administering SlackExperience supporting Adobe Creative Cloud licensing and applicationsExperience supporting nonprofit or healthcare organizationsExperience supporting multiple
