IT Senior Enterprise Architect (Hybrid)

About the role

Eversource is seeking a leader in Enterprise Architecture who will guide the transformation of IT capabilities to support the Electric Transmission business area. This role involves developing and delivering comprehensive solutions that integrate various application and technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate strategic roadmaps for a complex ecosystem of applications and technologies.
• Lead the analysis and design of technical solutions for resiliency, disaster recovery, and performance.
• Work across application and technology silos to ensure coordinated delivery of enterprise outcomes.
• Identify and test approaches to ensure the business solution is resilient and risks are mitigated.
• Support multiple support teams, vendor partners, and business partners during critical incidents, scheduled changes, or testing initiatives.
• Identify and escalate issues impacting the achievement of desired enterprise outcomes.
• Maintain relationships with current vendors and all domain and business areas to ensure synergy.
• Develop and lead projects to achieve goals and optimize enterprise outcomes.
• Provide cross-domain technical consultation services throughout the life of delivered projects.
• Assist with complex troubleshooting and coordinate domain experts to solve problems involving cross-domain issues.
• Create solution architecture documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Must have extensive experience with infrastructure and technology, business application technical design and implementation, and Enterprise Architecture goals and objectives. Requires strong interpersonal, communications, and presentation skills. Knowledge of Electric and Gas utility industry a plus, specifically the Electric Transmission business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of business and technical experience with at least 2 years in senior level roles related to broad or multiple areas of application, technology, or infrastructure architecture.

Skills

• Strong IT technology knowledge.
• Extensive experience with infrastructure and technology (cloud and on-premise).
• Proven experience architecting Disaster recovery solutions and resiliency hosting platforms for business solutions.
• Experience with architecture frameworks, processes such as TOGAF and ITIL processes such as Release, Change, Capacity, and Availability.
• Knowledge of Electric and Gas utility industry a plus, specifically the Electric Transmission business.

Benefits

Compensation and Benefits: Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. The annual salary range for this position is: $156,250.00-$173,610.00. This position is eligible for a potential incentive.

Pay

$156,250.00 - $173,610.00 Annually

Schedule

Hybrid schedule is offered for certain roles, with at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the third day set by the employee and supervisor based on department needs. Employees must be available to work up to five days in the office if needed or should the policy change.
